Default NBB vs BB gas pistols

What are your experiences with gas blowback vs. non-blowback pistols? Obviously nbb conserver gas since the slide doesn't need to be propelled, but do you think this makes getting a nbb worth it, in terms of gas saved? Its not only more economical, but easier as well. BBs still look the coolest though.

Sprign Pistol: cheap, probably fit you budget he best. Range from POS Y&P ones to Tokyo marui HGHU and KWC UG (very nice, shoot .25g BBs)

Gas Non-Blowback: chepest gas pistols, repeat every time you pull trigger (more fun). Stiff trigger pull, poor model accuracy, and minor issues with the to end models (TM Mk23 doesn't take green gas, Maruzen P99 Fixed has crappy hopup) make the UHC USP NBB the best choice in this segement. Best performing gas pistols, simple, but not as much fun or as accurate

Gas Blowback: The best of the airsoft world in terms of accuracy in function: GBBs range from POS KWC GBBs (do no tbuy) to KSC/KWA G19s (Very good, affordable GBB) to Tokyo Marui GBBs (good skirmishing guns) up to Western Arms Excellent quality high grade models (such as a wide selection of 1911 pistols) and others such as the KSC Mk23 Hard Kick

EBB: don't buy these, they look kind of cool, but have terrible FPS, and after the AAs start to wear down, ROF tanks and becomes worse than a springer. Get for novelty reasons only

AEP: At present only the Tokyo Marui M18c, An AEG in pistol frame. By all accounts, the only downside of this gun is the small magazine capacity, as you go through BBs fast when using this mini-hose. Would recommend, and plz reveiw.

I have a KWA Glock 18 C GBB and I love it. It has full auto as well as semi. It's pretty accurate, and is less accurate on full auto, but it depends on how strong your arm is because it has some kick (metal slide, sounds oh so nice). Adjustable hop-up, available hi-capa mags, and an under-the-barrel rail system (Mosquito Molds anyone? ). Very fun to shoot! I don't know how much more gas it uses than a NBB, usually I can use a clip two to three times before I need to refill it.

i have upgraded the high flow valve and it kicks harder than before(sweet kick to it). but the only problem that i have is that the metal slide got jammed. so im going to take it in for repair. the G19c is a good gun even though its been through hell with me it was still reliable until now im pretty sure its just the slide or the hammer, no biggie i was going to upgrade the slide and some of the internals(some of the internals were cracked because of frequent drops ). ive gotten attached to this gun because of its realism

as far as bb vs nbb, i like the blowback feature for its realism, but thats about as far as it gets with me, if im gonna buy a gun to use in the field, i would pick a non blow back for two reasons, the afore-mentioned gas conservation issue, but mainly i want as little to no recoil as possible so that every shot i make counts as accurately as possible... if im gonna shoot at you, i sure as hell want to be able to hit you with the first two or so shots, rather than firing 4 or 5 to try and compensate for the motion the gun is making in my hand... less recoil = more kills... saving time for the next target accuisition and saving on clip reloads... (as if i'd really be worried about how many bb's i'm wasting using a pistol anyways...)

Nice I think many people probably feel the same way.

All three types are good, depending on the situation you want to use them.

Hats off to blowback of course! NBB's are great too if you want to convert all that blowback action to firepower instead.

I've seen some nasty shots made by NBB's to a group, taking them 1 by 1 within 20 feet from the shooter. The silent shots made by the NBB makes it a good sneak up pistol.

The springers are there to give you a fighting chance when you've already consumed your first two pistols.
