As you all know, Operation: Urgent Gambit was rescheduled so that those who wanted to attend Operation: Irene III would not have to make a choice between the two events. We have received confirmation of the dates and they will be 21 - 23 October, 2005! Registration will begin again now. If you had already registered you will need to register again as the rosters have been cleared. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused for
some of you and we are sorry if the rescheduling of the event causes you to not be able to attend. We hope that everyone will still be able to make it out for the event and look forward to seeing you all there. Again, if you had already registered for the event please make sure to register again. If you hadn't registered for the event and the new dates will allow you to attend then register and come on out!

Please make sure to fill out the registration forms entirely so that they may be correctly processed!

Registered players of Operation: Urgent Gambit.

First, allow me to thank you for registering to play in Operation: Urgent Gambit this year. It is you, the players who make the events what they are. Unfortunately, I do bring some bad news. Last week we had sent out an email asking for a vote on if we should postpone Operation: Urgent Gambit due to the fact that Operation: Irene III had to be scheduled for the same date due to Ft. Knox giving only those dates to Mr. John Lu to run the his event. While many of you voted to run the event on the scheduled dates (23 - 25 September), there was a majority vote to postpone the event until a later time. We heavily considered going ahead and running the event anyway but there were two major considerations we had to take into account.

1. Many of you, as your votes indicated, wanted to attend both games. As it was not an impossibility for us to reschedule Operation: Urgent Gambit and it was confirmed that Operation: Irene III was given only the specified dates to use the Ft. Knox M.O.U.T. facility we had determined that we did not wish to make the players have to decide between the two events.

2. Enough players indicated that they wanted to attend Operation: Irene III that we do not believe we would have had enough players to make the completion of the scenarios possible. This would have led to a "less than par" event which we do not wish to provide. We want to have as many players as possible. Not only so we may provide an excellent event but also so the field can receive it's fee.

We realize that the rescheduling may make it to where some will not be able to attend. As such, all registrations that have currently been received will be deleted and registration will begin anew once the new date for the event has been determined and posted.

If you have already registered for Operation: Urgent Gambit, you will receive an email when the rescheduled date is announced and registration is opened.

We truly do apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment that may result from this issue but we really do believe that this is the best decision to support providing you with a quality event in the long run.

Be looking for another event sometime in August at Georgia Airsoft in the interum.

I wish I was closer to Georgia that would be cool.

Registrations are continuing to come in. Please make sure to register by 31 September, 2005 in order to secure your Operation: Urgent Gambit dog tag and chain. The dog tag is a great little item to remember the event by and is good for a discount on entry fees to future Team Blackjack / Georgia Airsoft events.

Registrations for Operation: Urgent Gambit are still coming in, the teams are growing and the commanders have been chosen.

The Cortanican People's Liberation Movement (CPLM) could use some more players if anyone is interested.

Be sure to get registered by 31 September, 2005 so you will receive an event dog tag as they must be pre-ordered.
